Clayton Stuckey scores podium finish with Hell Tour at Adams County Speedway

Making a surprise trip to the Midwest, Clayton Stuckey joined the DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Davenport (Iowa) Speedway on Tuesday afternoon for the second week of the Hell Tour.

With 38 Late Models signed in for night one, Stuckey got behind in his heat race which landed him in the last chance showdown where he was unable to transfer to the A-Main.

Finding much better luck at Adams County Speedway (Quincy, Ill) on Wednesday, Clayton went from fourth-to-second in his heat race which placed him on the fourth-row for the $5,000-to-win feature. Taking advantage of all 30 feature laps, Stuckey charged to the third position before the track rubbered. He trailed Max McLaughlin and Jason Feger while Daryn Klein and Will Roland completed the Top-5.

Hoping to find the same speed at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) on Thursday, Stuckey started ninth in the 30-lap feature and wound up 14th.

With the first $10,000-to-win event on tap at Brownstown (Ill.) Bullring, Clayton missed the setup in qualifying and fell backwards in his heat race. Being buried in the last chance showdown, Stuckey did not make the main event.

At Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway (Pevely, Mo.) on Saturday, Stuckey once again found himself in a B-Main where he would finish just a few spots out of a transfer.

Finishing out the week at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway on Sunday, Clayton brought back a 12th-place finish in the $5,000-to-win feature.
